I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) in 2006. Before that I received the Diploma in Computer System Design from National Institute of Business Management (NIBM), Sri Lanka in 2001. I have followed the Degree of Masters of Science in Artificial Intelligence from 2010 to 2013 at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I’ m also holding the full memberships of British Computer Society, Australian Computer Society and Computer Society of Sri Lanka as well.
Since 2001, I have been an Assistant Lecturer at IDM Affiliated University College in Sri Lanka till 2007. From 2007 to 2009 and from 2010 to-date I have been working as an Instructor in Information Technology at University of Colombo School of Computing and Wayamba University of Sri Lanka respectively. I have myself involved significant amount of academic and related activities including teaching for undergraduates, project supervision, carrying out significant amount of research work, software development etc. throughout my carrier. My main research interests are in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Image Processing, Character Recognition, Natural Language Processing and ICT Education.
